Some BBF photos from a while ago. This past weekend was quite fun. Saturday night I told the roller derby girls I'd DJ at Little Fish, Huge Pond. I was quite excited/nervous because I've never DJed in my life. Well, maybe that isn't true. I DJed in the fifth grade at Enterprise Village. Everyone had to apply for a job, and I was hired as a DJ for the radio station. Lately, I have been up for some challenges. Yesterday I had an amazing brunch, followed by a walk around Winter Park. I got to shoot some film and just enjoy being outside.

Finally!!!!! After screwing around with these negatives and being sorely disappointed. I was really excited about playing around with the BBF, but after scanning the first two rolls of film I didn't want to be bothered with it. I spent over $15 on two rolls of 35mm the other day. I was going to just load it up in good old Holga. I decided to do some snooping on the web. I found a tutorial about using my scanner to scan film with sprocket holes. The scanner will detect the darkness of the sprocket holes and figure that in when it color corrects. Because the holes are completely black, it doesn't calibrate ir for the darkest part of the actual image. Anyway, now that i have bored everyone, I will just post the link to the site for anyone that may have the same problem. Thanks to artpunk for posting this video because it was driving me mad.

Some links to sites I have been referring to quite often lately. I thought this would be a good place to put them so I can keep the links all together. Hopefully, someone else may find them useful as well.

Here are a few photos from last weekend. I was driving to the west coast to see my fam. The sky was stunning as I drove across the causeway, and I had to stop and take some pictures.

Today I did some test shots on a couple of rolls of slide film (Fujichrome Provia 400X and Kodak Ektachrome E100 VS). The two rolls will be sent off to some lab in Atlanta to be cross processed. I am anxious to see how they turn out so I can figure out what kinds of film I want to take with me to Europe. It's all one big experiment.
Here are some random photos from various rolls I shot over the past several months.
I was going to post Futuristic Casket by Phantogram, but the YouTube vids are crap. All two of them. So, here is Running from the Cops instead.

Here are some more photos from St. Augustine (which feels like forever ago). I finally bought my plane ticket travel (May 19-31) to England/Scotland/Ireland. I can't wait!!! I just need to figure out all the things to do when I get there. So, I spent about 13 hours at work over the weekend so that I'll have enough vacation time to take my trip. My allergies are feeling a lot better today. My voice isn't straining for the first time since Friday.
The floating soccer ball looking thing in the second photo is some one's floating hippie house. I can't really explain it more than that.
I really enjoy watching this video. I found it several years ago, but I still randomly look it up. It was the only video I could find for the song back when I found it. I wish I could just sit in that office with them and just aimlessly cut stuff out. I am horrible at cutting straight lines, but I think it would be fun to do if I could be messy about it.
