I finally remembered what my sketch book was meant for. Here are a few sketches I scratched out while waiting for planes, buses, etc.

Midnight Run
After being handcuffed to a computer for the last 11 days, I managed to get a weekend off for good behavior. Now I'm sitting in a car full of crazies on a 14 hour drive to Ohio. Destination: Cedar Point. We're currently just outside of Columbia, SC and I've been tinkering with my new iPhone 4 to save myself from boredom. I'm going to see if I can post some of my Star Wars photos over from Flickr.
Ok, that didn't work. Apparently I can email. Photo to Blogger and have it posted. I'll test that out some other time.

Somewhere
Somewhere (Trailer) - Sofia Coppola
I like the version of You Only Live Once (The Strokes) in the trailer. I am curious to see what I think of the film since the trailer is pretty ambiguous.

Lucky 100
I shot another roll of Lucky 100 last weekend. I don't shoot as much black and white as I should. The Lucky is a pain to load, and reading the frame # through the window on the back of the camera is impossible if you're not in direct sunlight.
I am feeling so worn out. I am having to work 10 hour days straight through my weekend. I am planning on going to Cedar Point up in Ohio next weekend. I am keeping my fingers crossed I won't need to work next weekend as well.

But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give"

Some Scotland
I will try to post these photos again. Last night, the uploaded images kept showing up with a crapload of artifacting and noise. The distortion wasn't present in the originals on my laptop. I am not sure what caused them to get F'ed up while they were being uploaded.

Stonehenge
Two miles of walking at 4:30 in the morning is not something I usually look forward to. But I was excited to get to go see Stonehenge at sunrise. Visitors are typically restricted to being roped off a few hundred feet from the stones. Thanks to Momo and her inside tip, I was able to go early and get as close to the stones as I wanted. Going so early not only provided lighting, but it also gave me the chance to take pictures with only a handful of other people around. It was pretty easy to get some nice photos without a bunch of people standing around. It was already daylight when I left the hotel in Amesbury, and the scenery was beautiful. It was a really great experience.

Portobello Market
I really enjoyed watching these girls perform with their marionette band.
