First Look

A shot from my first experiment is cross processing slide film. I was fine with the results until I scanned the photos I took at this lake. I am really happy with the way this photo came out. I will post the rest from this roll, and a second roll soon.

Mr. Moonlight

Here are a few photos of me screwing around with the shutter release cable and the pinhole setting on the Diana. Its hard to tell, but these are photos of the full moon last month at different lengths of exposure. I don't remember which was which, but I played around with durations of about 30 seconds to around 30 minutes. All three photos are from my deck over looking the lake behind the house.

The photos are longer exposures (the top was the shortest and the bottom photo was the longest). The longest exposure almost looks like dim daylight.

Color Filters

I complained about the light leaks in my last post. I have to say that they make a great contrast against the cool colored filters. There is also a photo of Jeff monkeying around with my Black Bird, Fly camera mixed in there. Thanks Ivan for taking some of these awesome photos!

I have been listening to Empire Ants more than any song on Plastic Beach. To me the song kind of feels like flying through sunshine. So, it was perfect to listen to while cleaning up these photos. The over-saturated colors went along with the part that Little Dragon sings.
