This weekend I watched the documentary Manufactured Landscapes by photographer Edward Burtynsky on Netflix. I was impressed by the sheer scale of the factory in the opening sequence. But it was nothing compared to the horrible defacement to the land that man is capable of.

Wow. I'm going to add this to my queue now!
Unbelievable! and scary. But images are brilliant. There is something wrong with me.
It was crazy to see what we've done to these landscapes. It was also amazing to see what kind of hardships people endure just to get by.
