Atomic Bomb Dome Photos

Here are a few more photos from Japan I never got around to posting. This is the Atomic Bomb Dome which is the skeleton of the building the first Atomic bomb detonated over.

Drawings From Vacation

I didn't have a lot of time to sit and draw. Plus I never seemed to have my sketchbook around. So, I improvised and drew in the JR time table book.

I feel like I spent all of this time learning these implicit rules of drawing and design. Balance and unity and variety etc. Now I am having a struggle freeing myself from these guidelines. That's how it goes.

Here's Phantom Limb by the Shins.

Extended Weekended

This weekend has been awesome. I got to go see Depeche Mode + Peter, Bjorn, & John on Friday night and have been having fun ever since. I also bought a few books at the B & N the other day. I bought an Intro to the Mind & Brain, a book about drawing people (I'm a bit skeptical), and one that gives an overview of different philosophies in 30 seconds (perhaps too good to be true). Here are even more photos from Japan. I am getting addicted to shooting film. I was thinking about grabbing some black and white and screwing around with the cam again tomorrow.

Here's a vid from my favorite song "Wrong" off the new Depeche Mode album.

Some Photos From Japan

Here are a few photos. I am actually starting to get really tired. So, I better try and sleep while I can. Hopefully, I won't wake up in the middle of the night again.
