Fade Out Again...

I saw my sketchbook lying on the desk in the other room. I forgot about this sketch I drew, waiting around in the airport on Christmas Eve (whilst listening to Radiohead). I am building a collection of airport drawings apparently. I like to kill time waiting for flights or in the waiting room at the doctor's.

I've been looking at applying to Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) recently. I am anxious/nervous to get a Master's degree. I have been wanting to go back to school ever since I graduated from UCF. Well, this degree would be earned entirely online. I started thinking about the limitations of attending a school based merely on proximity. I need to beat my portfolio into shape. I haven't really worked on any solid projects outside of work since I graduated.

From the Past

Digging through boxes in the garage unearthed some old sketches I had done back in college. It was pretty much just screwing around as usual. I also just found some old animation projects (and even a couple of still lifes from junior college). They're kind of embarrassing. I guess 5 years of experience in the industry sure helps.

Cleaning out the Crap

I got talked into cleaning some crap out of the garage. It actually turned out well. I consolidated a lot of boxes I haven't touched in the two years I have lived here. Goodwill will also be getting a nice helping of some stuff. The best part was finding some old sketches and stuff. So, my plan is to photograph and post it. I started the process, and then my battery in my cam croaked. So, it should be charged by tomorrow. Here are a coupe for now.

Damn computers

I think I have gotten to the point where I can pretty much fix almost any problem with my animations at work. Tonight reminded me of the good old days my old stubborn computer. I didn't leave work until 10:45 tonight. The worst part is I still didn't resolve the problem. I could only get 2/3 of the displays to work correctly. Anyway, here are some old paintings of mine.
